Qingdao Contemporary International Culture Exchange Centre was established in September 2016. The centre is a non-profit organization that carries out unofficial Sino-foreign cultural exchanges and cooperation on behalf of Qingdao Culture and Tourism Bureau, and it is also advised, supervised, and managed by the bureau.
At the same time, the centre serves as a director unit of China Education Association for International Exchange, Qingdao People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Qingdao Education Association for International Exchange.
